Rebuilding a 1993 Pelican Landing home around a new kitchen

Lakemont Drive is a custom home renovation by Kelly General Contracting in Pelican Landing, Bonita Springs. The 2,472-square-foot single-storey house was built in 1993 and rebuilt from the inside: a new kitchen, a new primary bathroom, a bar and butler pantry, a hybrid guest suite, and new flooring, lighting and finishes throughout.

A kitchen built around a blue island

The kitchen is anchored by a deep blue island with elegant quartz counters and seating for four, set against white perimeter cabinetry. A custom wood hood frames the gas range, woven pendants and a matching chandelier warm the room, and French doors open the far wall to the garden.

Bar and butler pantry

A dedicated bar runs beside the kitchen with glass-front upper cabinets, open shelving, under-cabinet lighting and an integrated beverage fridge. The butler pantry continues the same white cabinetry and quartz so the main run stays clear.

The primary bathroom

Twin wood vanities with framed mirrors face a freestanding soaking tub, beside a frameless glass walk-in shower tiled to full height.

A hybrid guest suite

The hybrid guest suite is finished in deep navy with white built-in wardrobes, drawer banks and a bay window — a room that works as guest space and dressing space at once.

Living around the lanai

A media wall anchors the living area, and sliding glass runs the length of the room out to the pool and lanai.

A 1993 floor plan brought up to date without losing the house that was already there.
