See the photographsGullane Court is a whole-house interior renovation by Kelly General Contracting at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers. The 2,984 sq ft single-storey home was built in 1987 and sits on the lake; the renovation reworked the kitchen, three bathrooms, the laundry, the closets and every finish in between.
The kitchen carries the project. A curved island with a fluted wood base and marble countertops anchors the room, with glass-front upper cabinets, a mosaic tile backsplash, brass hardware and a beaded chandelier overhead. Built-in wall ovens, a paneled refrigerator, a wine refrigerator and a second prep sink keep the working runs clear of the island itself.
The great room opens to the kitchen under a vaulted ceiling with clerestory windows above and a wall of glass facing the lake. A stacked-stone fireplace anchors one end. Backlit artwork panels set into the walls in the hallway and living room turn circulation space into something worth walking through.
Every bathroom came out and went back in: double vanities with stone tops, backlit LED mirrors, brass sconces, towel warmers, and a walk-in shower with a pebble floor. One vanity opens straight onto the pool deck, which is the kind of detail that only makes sense once you have lived in a house on the water.
The laundry room gained a sink, a folding counter and a drying rack. Closets were fitted with custom shelving and double hanging rods, and a full wall of built-in shelving with LED cove lighting runs alongside the garden windows.
The house sits on the water inside Fiddlesticks Country Club, with a circular paver drive, mature royal palms and a screened pool enclosure at the rear. Golf course frontage sits across the lake.

A full interior renovation of a 1987 home: the kitchen, three bathrooms, the laundry room, closets, built-ins, flooring and lighting were all rebuilt. The structure and single-storey footprint stayed as they were.
